ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER
The Role
We are assembling a passionate launch team of hospitality leaders and front\-of\-house go\-getters for our grand opening. We are currently recruiting experienced Managers and Assistant Managers to join this exciting new beginning. Working alongside the Proprietor, you will play a vital role in establishing a flawless operation, driving financial growth, and creating unforgettable guest experiences.
Core Responsibilities
\* Operational Leadership: Fully oversee daily front\-of\-house operations and monitor back\-of\-house environments to ensure maximum efficiency.
\* Team Development: Drive the XORA culture by leading recruitment, mentoring staff, and providing continuous training to build a high\-performing brigade.
\* Financial Management: Take ownership of financial reporting, invoices, sales growth, and overall budgetary control.
\* Systems \& Admin: Maintain up\-to\-date food, wine, and cocktail menus across the POS system, compiling clear daily reports for the Directors.
\* Stock \& Quality Control: Coordinate regular inventory audits to ensure food, beverage, and service standards remain at the highest levels.
\* Compliance \& Maintenance: Enforce legal compliance, manage front\-of\-house cleanliness, and liaise with maintenance teams for prompt building repairs.
What We Look For
\* Proven Background: A minimum of 10 years of management experience within a reputable, high\-standard hospitality organisation.
\* Licensing Requirement: Must hold a valid UK Personal Licence (APLH) to supervise the sale of alcohol.
\* Legal Readiness: Must be fully eligible to work in the UK and possess (or be willing to obtain) a valid DBS check.
\* Strong Leadership: Exceptional communication, work delegation, and influencing skills with a knack for problem\-solving under pressure.
\* Business Acumen: Sound knowledge of financial management, revenue reporting, and supplier coordination.
\* Credentials: Excellent, contactable professional references.
