RESTAURANT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate, experienced, and driven Restaurant Manager to lead our front\-of\-house team and help deliver outstanding guest experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in premium hospitality who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of the restaurant’s day\-to\-day running, including opening setup, lunch and dinner service, and end\-of\-day closing procedures.
- Team Leadership \& Staff Development: Manage the recruitment, training, and development of front\-of\-house staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
- Rotas \& Staffing: Prepare and manage staff rotas to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency, while maintaining excellent service standards.
- Stock \& Order Management: Monitor inventory levels, place supplier orders, and manage deliveries to ensure consistent stock availability without over\-ordering.
- Service Excellence: Lead by example during service, ensuring guests receive attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service at all times.
- Bookings \& Events: Manage reservations and coordinate with guests for private events and group bookings, ensuring smooth execution and client satisfaction.
- Cost Control: Monitor and manage labour costs and contribute to achieving budget targets, working closely with senior management to improve overall profitability.
- Health \& Safety Compliance: Ensure the restaurant operates in line with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Previous experience in a management role within a quality\-driven restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills and a hands\-on approach to managing service.
