Foley’s Townhouse \& Restaurant Killarney is seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our team.

Foley’s Townhouse \& Restaurant is a family\-run, four\-star guesthouse and award\-winning seafood \& steak restaurant, located in the heart of Killarney. We are a third\-generation business, welcoming guests for over 75 years.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to help lead our restaurant team. Reporting to the Head Chef/Owner, you'll be involved in the day\-to\-day running of the restaurant, supporting and developing staff while ensuring our guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience.

This is a hands\-on role where you'll lead by example, help maintain high service standards, train and support team members, and contribute to the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and ensure excellent customer service is delivered at all times.

  • Train, supervise, and support team members in all aspects of their role.

  • Maintain a strong knowledge of our food, wine, and beverage offerings.

  • Respond to guest needs and feedback in a professional and positive manner.

  • Help plan and oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

  • Manage staffing levels to maintain excellent service standards.

  • Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene procedures are followed.

What We're Looking For
  • 2–3 years' experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.

  • A passion for training, mentoring, and developing team members.

  • A positive, hands\-on attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

  • Fluent English, both spoken and written.
