The Role:As the Restaurant Manager, you are the leader of the front\-of\-house operation and a key business partner. You will be responsible for the overall guest journey, the performance and development of your team, and the commercial success of the restaurant. You will set the standard for service, turning first\-time visitors into loyal advocates for the Daiu brand.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Restaurant Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a positive team environment and ensuring the smooth running of all restaurant functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, ensuring efficient team management and excellent service delivery
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations at all times
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and maintain high culinary standards
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
- Organise staff schedules, training sessions, and performance evaluations to foster professional development
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant environment in accordance with health codes
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to optimise revenue
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and standards in food production environments
- Excellent leadership qualities combined with organisational skills
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers
- Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of barista services or serving roles is a plus
