Cafe Kisa is looking for an experienced, confident and enthusiastic Restaurant Manager to lead our front\-of\-house team and take ownership of the day\-to\-day running of our busy restaurant.
We’re an independent, family\-run restaurant in the heart of Auchterarder, serving everything from breakfast and brunch through to lunch, evening dining and Sunday roasts.
This is a key role within our business. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading from the front and creating a restaurant that is well organised, welcoming and consistently delivers great food and service.
The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth day\-to\-day operation of Cafe Kisa, working closely with the owners and kitchen management team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating the front\-of\-house team
- Taking overall responsibility for restaurant shifts and service
- Maintaining consistently high standards of customer service
- Training, coaching and developing team members
- Supporting supervisors and senior team members to develop their leadership skills
- Managing rotas and staffing levels in line with business requirements
- Monitoring labour costs and helping ensure the restaurant operates efficiently
- Managing bookings, table plans and customer flow
- Handling customer feedback and resolving issues professionally
- Ensuring opening, closing and cleaning standards are completed correctly
- Maintaining high standards across the restaurant, bar and customer areas
- Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and ongoing team training
- Managing stock, ordering and wastage within relevant areas
- Ensuring company procedures and health \& safety standards are followed
- Helping to drive sales and identify opportunities to grow the business
- Supporting events, seasonal menus and special occasions
- Building a positive, professional and enjoyable working environment
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in restaurant or hospitality management
- A confident and approachable leader
- Comfortable managing a busy service and making decisions
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Passionate about great hospitality and customer experience
- Able to set clear expectations and maintain high standards
- Confident training and developing a team
- Commercially aware and comfortable working with sales, staffing and costs
- Reliable, proactive and willing to take ownership
- A strong communicator who works well with both front and back of house

This is a full\-time position and will include a mixture of daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
Flexibility is essential as the Restaurant Manager will be expected to be present during key trading periods and busy services.
