Your Responsibilities

As a Boss Pizza Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful day\-to\-day operation of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, high food quality, and strong team performance.

Your duties will include:

  • Leading, motivating and inspiring your team during every shift

  • Managing the daily operation of the store to ensure smooth and efficient service

  • Delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive customer experience

  • Supervising food preparation to ensure products meet Boss Pizza quality standards

  • Monitoring food quality, presentation, speed of service and order accuracy

  • Managing labour costs and scheduling staff rotas to meet business demands

  • Recruiting, training, coaching and developing team members

  • Conducting performance reviews and supporting employee development

  • Managing shift handovers and ensuring effective communication between teams

  • Maintaining excellent cleanliness throughout the store

  • Ensuring full compliance with Food Hygiene, HACCP and Health \& Safety regulations

  • Carrying out opening and closing procedures

  • Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and controlling food waste

  • Completing regular stock counts and inventory checks

  • Receiving deliveries and ensuring correct storage of all products

  • Monitoring equipment and reporting maintenance issues promptly

  • Managing cash handling, banking procedures and till reconciliation

  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints professionally and efficiently

  • Driving sales through excellent service, upselling and local marketing initiatives

  • Monitoring store performance against sales and operational KPIs

  • Ensuring labour, food and operational costs remain within budget

  • Supporting promotional campaigns and community marketing activities

  • Maintaining company standards, policies and security procedures

  • Leading by example to create a positive, high\-performing team culture

  • Taking ownership of the store in the absence of senior management
What You'll Need
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality, retail or food service

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A positive, hands\-on approach with a strong work ethic

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy environment

  • Excellent customer service and problem\-solving skills

  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards

  • Experience managing rotas, stock and labour costs is desirable

  • Flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends

  • A passion for delivering great food and outstanding customer experiences
