Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a dedicated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and culinary excellence to contribute to the ongoing success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, including food preparation, serving, and customer service
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee team performance to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene across the premises
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality control and consistency in dishes served
- Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality experiences to guests
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory efficiently
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to uphold customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences
- Train new staff members in service procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary practices
- Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Previous experience in supervising staff in a busy restaurant or hotel environment is highly desirable
- Good communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Knowledge of hospitality operations including serving, barista experience, and kitchen management is advantageous
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences
