Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily operations of our establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a motivated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in hospitality, culinary arts, and team management to drive the success of our restaurant.
Duties
- Manage overall restaurant operations, including front\-of\-house and kitchen activities.
- Supervise and motivate staff, including servers, cooks, and support personnel, fostering a positive working environment.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
- Implement and monitor food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations.
- Coordinate food production, ensuring timely delivery of orders and efficient utilisation of resources.
- Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and oversee training programmes to enhance team performance.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by resolving issues promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage costs effectively to optimise profitability.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to support smooth operations.
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles.
- Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Previous experience in restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Exceptional leadership qualities combined with strong communication skills.
- Background in serving or hospitality roles is advantageous for understanding guest needs.

Pay: £35,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
