Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a dedicated team. Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all restaurant activities to deliver outstanding customer service and operational efficiency.
- Supervise staff including chefs, servers, baristas, and other team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
- Implement and monitor food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations.
- Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks, and supervise daily operations during shifts.
- Ensure the restaurant maintains cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with suppliers for inventory management and procurement of ingredients and supplies.
- Assist in training new staff members in service procedures, culinary techniques, and safety standards.
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall hospitality experience for guests.
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
- Demonstrable supervising experience with team management skills.
- Knowledge of culinary arts, food production processes, and kitchen operations.
- Experience in serving within a hospitality setting such as restaurants or hotels is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Leadership qualities with a focus on motivating teams and fostering professional development.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers alike.
- Familiarity with health regulations related to food safety and hygiene standards.
