Restaurant & Bar Assistant Manager
TARBOUSH Restaurant \& Bar is looking for a reliable, hands\-on, and motivated Assistant Manager to support the day\-to\-day running of our busy restaurant and bar operation and help deliver an excellent customer experience.
This role is ideal for someone with previous hospitality or restaurant/bar supervisory experience who enjoys working in a fast\-paced environment, leading by example, and being actively involved in service and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the daily operations of the restaurant and bar
- Supervising front\-of\-house staff and assisting with rota coordination
- Ensuring high standards of customer service and hospitality
- Supporting the kitchen and bar teams during busy service periods
- Assisting with stock control, supplier coordination, and general organisation
- Helping maintain cleanliness, hygiene, licensing, and food safety standards
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Supporting management with team organisation and business operations
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or bar supervision/management
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident leading a team in a busy service environment
- Hands\-on, reliable, and proactive
- Good understanding of customer service and food hygiene standards
- Able to multitask and problem\-solve under pressure
- Bar, cocktail, or drinks service experience is an advantage
- Local to Loughborough or surrounding area preferred
