Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas.


• Assist with food preparation and cooking to ensure dishes meet quality standards.


• Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.


• Manage the organisation of food production, ensuring timely service during busy periods.


• Lead team management efforts by motivating staff, providing training, and fostering a positive work environment.


• Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction.


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with safety standards.


• Support in serving customers during peak hours when necessary.


• Assist in inventory management, including stock ordering and wastage control.


• Contribute to menu planning alongside head chefs or culinary teams.

• Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.


• Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively.


• Extensive restaurant experience, including knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards.


• Familiarity with food production processes, kitchen operations, and hospitality best practices.


• Previous experience in culinary roles such as chef or barista is advantageous.


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.


• Leadership qualities combined with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.


• Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards is essential.
