Summary
This role involves providing administrative coordination and support to the Council's Resourcing and Talent Acquisition function on a 6\-month part\-time contract basis. The position is crucial in managing the full recruitment lifecycle for both permanent and agency roles. The successful candidate will collaborate with Resourcing and Talent Acquisition Advisers to ensure efficient recruitment campaigns, deliver an excellent candidate experience, and provide high\-quality support to hiring managers. The role also involves monitoring recruitment activities, maintaining systems, and implementing initiatives to enhance attraction, diversity, and talent acquisition outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment Administration
+ Assist in delivering permanent and agency recruitment campaigns.
+ Ensure timely communication with hiring managers, candidates, and stakeholders.
+ Maintain recruitment activity trackers and meet deadlines.
- Candidate Management
+ Update candidates on application, interview, and offer processes.
+ Assist with screening and shortlisting activities.
+ Maintain high levels of customer service throughout the candidate journey.
- Recruitment Campaign Support
+ Liaise with advertising providers and partners for recruitment needs.
+ Assist with social media recruitment campaigns.
+ Support recruitment attraction strategies and initiatives.
- Interview \& Assessment Coordination
+ Organise interview documentation and assessment materials.
+ Support recruitment assessment centres and selection activities.
+ Ensure secure management of recruitment documentation.
- Systems \& Data Management
+ Run recruitment reports and provide management information.
+ Support system upgrades and improvements.
+ Ensure accuracy and currency of recruitment records.
- Reporting \& Performance Monitoring
+ Produce reports on recruitment activity and service performance.
+ Monitor redeployment activity and report issues.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement through data analysis.
- Training \& Events Support
+ Coordinate logistics and administration for recruitment activities.
- Communications \& Customer Service
+ Liaise with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners.
+ Provide professional, responsive, and customer\-focused support.
+ Escalate complex enquiries as needed.

+ Promote fair and inclusive recruitment practices.
