We're recruiting for a Residential Surveyor to join a highly successful and growing chartered surveying practice covering the Kingston-upon-Thames area. Due to continued business growth, they're looking for an experienced surveying professional to work on a consultancy basis, covering properties within a 25-mile radius of your home.
Offering complete flexibility, strong administrative support, and an excellent fee split, this is an ideal opportunity for an experienced surveyor seeking greater autonomy and work-life balance.
The Role
As a Residential Surveyor, you will:
- Carry out RICS Home Surveys (Level 2/HomeBuyer Reports)
- Undertake Mortgage Valuations
- Deliver high-quality survey reports using industry-leading reporting software
- Manage your own workload while maintaining excellent service standards
- Work closely with the support team to ensure an efficient customer journey
- Maintain professional standards and deliver accurate, compliant reports
- Cover work within a 25-mile radius of your home
- AssocRICS qualified (minimum) or above
- Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification surveying experience
- VRS registered
- Strong experience carrying out residential valuations and surveys
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own diary effectively
- Realistic On Target Earnings of up to £100,000
- Excellent fee split of 50%-55%
- Consultancy basis with complete flexibility
- Minimum workload of 10 points per week, spread across a minimum of two working days
- Industry-leading report writing software
- Full administrative support
- Remote/home-based working
- Monday-Friday working
- Survey work allocated within a 25-mile radius of your home
