We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Rehabilitation Assistant to join our dynamic team inMacroom, Co. Cork, where person\-centred care is at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role:

As a Residential Rehabilitation Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting adults with an acquired brain injury to live with greater independence, confidence, and autonomy. Working as part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team, you will help persons served build daily living skills, engage in meaningful activities, and work toward their personal rehabilitation goals. This role is a hands\-on, varied, and deeply rewarding every day you will contribute to creating a safe, supportive, person\-centred environment where individuals are empowered to kake choices and participate fully in their community.

The contract available is Specified Purpose, Full\-Time, 39 hours and Specified Purpose, Part\-Time, 23\.4 hours.

The salary range will be 30961\-44534 \- DOE

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Build respectful, trusting relationships and offer consistent support

  • Help create and guide personalised rehabilitation plans

  • Encourage independence through daily living skills, personal care, and goal\-focused activities

  • Work closely with the team, attend meetings, and keep progress updated on IPlanit

  • Adhere to professional standards, policies, and procedures

  • Assist persons served with budgeting, money management and disability benefits where applicable in line with Organisational policy

  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment

Must Haves:

  • Relevant Health or Social Care qualification to a QQI Level 5 or higher

  • Full driving licence

  • Person\-centred values

  • Strong communication skills \- be able to engage compassionately, clearly and confidently in spoken and written English

  • Confident using basic IT systems to stay connected and organised
Great to Have:
  • Experience in Residential or Community settings

  • Background in Disability or Illness support
