Residential Conveyancer / Conveyancing Executive / Property Solicitor / Partner, Prestwich
A growing, well-regarded law firm in Prestwich is seeking a Residential Conveyancer, Conveyancing Executive, or Property Solicitor to join its expanding team.
This is a unique opportunity suited to conveyancers at all levels — from experienced fee earners to senior solicitors — with a clear route to leadership and Partnership for those looking to progress. A well-regarded firm is looking to replace a partner after 9 years with the firm. They are open to fee earners through to senior managers for the position and can restructure themselves to accommodate the person who seems the right fit.
The Role:
You will handle a manageable residential conveyancing caseload, alongside contributing to the development of the department.
For senior candidates, this role offers the chance to take on team leadership, operational input, and strategic responsibility, working closely with the Managing Partner.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion (freehold, leasehold, shared ownership)
Potentially managing a team of 3, including a 2-year PQE Solicitor.
Ensure smooth progression of files in line with the conveyancing process and compliance requirements
Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties
Support or oversee workflows across instructions, fee earners, and post-completions
Assist with risk management, compliance, and process improvement
Mentor junior staff and support team development (senior level)
Requirements
Proven experience in residential conveyancing
Ability to manage files independently from start to finish
Strong knowledge of the full conveyancing lifecycle
Excellent communication and client care skills
Previous supervisory experience or ambition to step into leadership (desirable)
