Advanced Adolescent Care Solutions are looking to recruit Residential Support Workers to join our expanding company. All of our homes are solo provisions for young people between the ages of 8\-18 and who have Emotional, Social and Behavioural Difficulties along with other complex needs . Our young people are supported by 2 staff at all times.

As a Residential Support Worker you will be a key member of the team answering to the Registered Home Manager and providing high standards of care and support to the young person.

You will be assigned 14 shifts over a monthly period, this will include 3\-4 sleep\-ins per week.

Annual leave entitlement of 28 days

\*A current driving licence is *essential*.

\*A Level 3 Qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent is desirable, however if you do not have this we will enrol you following a successful probation.

You will be doing the following:

• Support the young person in learning life skills.


• Manage the well\-being and behaviour of young person ensuring behaviour's are addressed promptly and sensitively.


• Actively involved in key\-work sessions and the recording of the outcomes of these sessions with the young person.


• Support the young person in daily activities, trips out and family contact if required, promoting social behaviour.


• To Support and encourage educational engagement.


• Ensure the home is kept to a high standard of cleanliness.


• Prepare meals and engage in assisting the young person develop their independence skills.


• Engage in Mandatory Training and complete any Qualifications relevant to post.


• Ensure the home is kept to a high standard.
