About the Role
As a Residential Care Worker at Branston House, you’ll be part of a therapeutic
team supporting young people who have experienced trauma, neglect, or disruption.
Our home is built on PACE and trauma\-informed practices, aiming to create a stable
and safe space where children can build trusting relationships and thrive.
You’ll work directly with children in their day\-to\-day lives helping them feel valued,
understood, and supported emotionally, socially, and developmentally.
Your Role Includes
Building safe, trusting relationships with children using a PACE approach
Supporting emotional regulation, daily routines, and meaningful activities
Helping with education, personal care, and promoting independence
Maintaining clear records, contributing to care plans and safeguarding
Working with therapists and senior staff to embed therapeutic responses
What You Need
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete)
Empathy, patience, and a strong sense of emotional resilience
Experience supporting children/young people (residential, school, or care
setting desirable)
Commitment to therapeutic care and reflective practice
Full UK driving licence and enhanced DBS
