About the Role

As a Residential Care Worker at Branston House, you’ll be part of a therapeutic

team supporting young people who have experienced trauma, neglect, or disruption.

Our home is built on PACE and trauma\-informed practices, aiming to create a stable

and safe space where children can build trusting relationships and thrive.

You’ll work directly with children in their day\-to\-day lives helping them feel valued,

understood, and supported emotionally, socially, and developmentally.

Your Role Includes

 Building safe, trusting relationships with children using a PACE approach

 Supporting emotional regulation, daily routines, and meaningful activities

 Helping with education, personal care, and promoting independence

 Maintaining clear records, contributing to care plans and safeguarding

 Working with therapists and senior staff to embed therapeutic responses

What You Need

 Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete)

 Empathy, patience, and a strong sense of emotional resilience

 Experience supporting children/young people (residential, school, or care

setting desirable)

 Commitment to therapeutic care and reflective practice

 Full UK driving licence and enhanced DBS
