Reservations Agent
A unique chance to be a part of a prestigious London hotel. Our stylish hotel boasts inimitable river views and is situated between Lambeth and Vauxhall bridges, just south of the river. The hotel will host 142 bedrooms including suites and a number of venues where our guests can eat, drink, work or relax.
We are excited to be recruiting for a Reservations Agent. Reporting to the Reservations Manager this position is responsible for maintaining and maximising sales revenue. To assist in achieving budgets and targets set for this area and the overall budget, through promotion of the products and services of the hotel.

Duties \& Responsibilities:
- To receive enquiries and take the appropriate follow\-up action necessary to convert this to a ‘sale’
· To quote according as per hotel guidelines, ensuring information is correctly entered into the system to support accurate forecasting.
· To ensure all data on accounts and guests profiles are correct and up to date in Opera PMS/S\&C.
- As a member of the Revenue \& Reservations team, maximise conversion and revenue for rooms
- To be involved in sales activities if required, to ensure the successful launch and continued business success of the hotel..
- Distribute the BEOs (Business Event Orders) on a weekly basis, ensuring any updates and further amendments are communicated swiftly and accurately.
- Lead the weekly Meetings \& Events BEO meetings clearly communicating all client requirements to all relevant team members and departments.
- Organise and order any additional equipment requirements to ensure clients’ needs and requirements are met.
- Receive and answer telephone enquiries taking appropriate actions to convert the call to a ‘sale’
- Handle enquiries and reservations, offering a personal service as per the hotel procedures.
- Accurately input the reservation.
- Daily check of individual reservations received via direct connect channels.
- Action traces and emails related to forthcoming stays.
- Ensure payment details are accurate and follow the Hotel’s payment policy procedures.
- Check arrivals on a weekly/daily basis and highlight VIP’s.
- Process payments for advance purchase and 3rd party payments.
- Upsell all areas of the hotel
You will be a positive, enthusiastic and resourceful individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to plan, prioritise, multi\-task and self\-manage, without constant supervision. Flexibility, adaptability and attention to detail are also key requirements of the role. Previous Meeting \& Events sales experience is desirable, along with a proactive approach, a strong drive for results and a track record of achievement, along with the ability to network at all levels.
Pay: £27,000\.00\-£29,000\.00 per year
