Research Assistant in Healthcare Management

Work with IESE CRHIM in supporting EU\-funded innovation and research projects (Horizon Europe / IHI).

Assignments in Innovation projects such as:

• COMPASS (Cardio\-Oncology Multidisciplinary PatientASsistance Solution): Optimizing the cardio\-vascular health ofcancer patients and survivors through a comprehensive end\-to\-endpatient\-centred clinical pathway to predict cardiotoxicity risk forcancer patients and survivors. In collaboration with leadinginstitutions (King’s College London, GE Healthcare, Hospital ClinicBarcelona, etc.)


• CHAIN (European Cardiovascular Health data and AI Network):Supporting the development of a European ecosystem fortrustworthy AI and cardiovascular health data, aligned with theEuropean Health Data Space (EHDS). The work focuses on theearly\-stage development of sustainability, governance andimplementation frameworks for large\-scale AI and health\-datainfrastructures in cardiovascular care, in collaboration with leadingEuropean institutions including the European Society of Cardiology(ESC), Amsterdam UMC, Charité Berlin, Human Technopole, andmultiple hospitals, research centres and public\-health organisationsacross Europe.

Tasks: Literature review and market analysis; health\-economic and sustainability analysis; needs assessment; development of value propositions and business models; commercialization and business strategy support; relationship with partners and stakeholders; interviews with KOLs and end\-users; support in economic and strategic analyses for EU healthcare innovation projects; visits to healthcare institutions to validate the value of the solution/device/tool. Publication of results. Some travel will be involved.

Assignment to a particular project might slightly change, but tasks and expertise required are common to most of the projects.

Support event / workshops organized by IESE CRHIM (education / entrepreneurship and innovation\-related:

BS/BA or Master’s degree in Economics, Healthcare, Business,Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Life Sciences or related fields

• Strong interest in healthcare innovation, AI, digital health, andcommercialization


• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical and problem\-solving skills


• Excellent written and spoken English; additional EU languages are aplus


• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate withmultidisciplinary teams


• Experience in research, project management, innovation projects, orEU\-funded initiatives is a plus


• Experience with grant writing or event coordination is a plus


• Work permit in Spain / EU required

Condition

• Full \-time position.


• salary cf. IESE Research Assistant pay scale (cf. Research Office).


• Work\-Contract and Social Security.

1 June 2026 – or as early as possible. .

Duration

1 year contract that can be extended
