Rental Operations – Motorhome Rentals

We are looking for a motivated and customer focused Rental Operations Adviser to join our Bathgate depot team. This hands on role combines customer service, vehicle rental operations, fleet coordination, and depot operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in vehicle rental, tourism, hospitality, logistics, or operational customer service who enjoys working in a fast\-paced environment and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Fleet \& Depot Operations
- Execute and coordinate all rental workflows including: Vehicle check\-ins and check\-outs, Rental documentation, Fleet status updates, Cleaning and preparation coordination, Vehicle readiness checks
- Track daily operational KPIs and maintain accurate operational systems
- Coordinate daily priorities and support task allocation across the depot team
- Assist with operational continuity during peak rental periods
- Perform basic motorhome readiness checks including: Battery systems, Water systems, Check cookers \& Fridges between hires, Lighting and safety checks
- Escalate maintenance or technical issues where required
- Ensure all vehicles meet company presentation and safety standards
- 2/4 years experience in one or more of the following: Vehicle rental, Customer service, Hospitality, Logistics, Tourism, Operations coordination
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong multitasking and problem solving abilities
- Confident using Google Sheets, booking systems, and digital platforms
- Hands on approach with willingness to support depot operations
- Full UK or EU Category B driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years
- Own transport required due to depot location
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Flexible approach to weekends, peak seasons, and operational demands
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
- Able to stand and move around the depot for extended periods
- Able to lift and move items up to 15kg
- Experience within motorhome, caravan, automotive, leisure, or travel industries
- Additional language skills
