Job Overview
The Lansdown Clinic in the heart of the Cotswolds (GL10\) is seeking a skilled and compassionate self employed Massage Therapist to join our award winning multi\-disciplinary team to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months subject to the return of the postholder. The clinic prides itself on evidence based patient centred care and has a dedicated gym and rehab suite onsite. The team consists of chiropractors, sports therapists, massage therapists and a foot healthcare practitioner. The clinic has been established for over 20 years and has an excellent reputation within the community, local GPs and other healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a strong knowledge of human anatomy. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic treatments to patients, helping them to alleviate pain, reduce stress, and enhance overall well\-being. Your role will involve creating a relaxing environment and tailoring each session to meet the individual needs of patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough consultations with patients to understand their health history and specific needs and customise massage treatments accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and up to date patient records using Cliniko database.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the treatment area before and after each session.
- Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend self\-care practices.
- Uphold professional standards of conduct and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.
- A recognised qualification in Massage Therapy or equivalent is essential.
- Proven experience as a remedial/holistic/pregnancy massage therapist.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy is required to effectively assess patients' needs and provide appropriate treatments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Valid insurance and certificate in Massage Therapy
- Some evening work and alternate Saturdays
The employment will be on a part time self employed basis with a competitve percentage based scheme which will be discussed at the interview along with a current established patient base.
Available days for this position are Wednesday and Friday and alternate Saturday mornings.
