Pay Rate: £14\.00 per hour
Hours: 42 Hours per week

We are recruiting 3 x Relief Security Officers to provide professional security services across Swindon and the surrounding areas. As a Relief Security Officer, you will play a key role in protecting people, property, and assets across a range of customer sites while delivering excellent customer service and upholding Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
This position offers an average of 42 hours per week at £14\.00 per hour and requires flexibility to cover both planned and unplanned absences across multiple corporate sites. Applicants must hold a valid SIA Licence and be available to work operational shifts as required.
Note, this role requires you to have the following: Key Requirements:
- Fully flexible availability, including days, nights, and weekends
- Access to own transport (essential due to multiple site locations)
- Smart, professional appearance and attitude
- Previous experience in a support or relief security role (ideal)
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different site requirements
- First Aid at Work
- CCTV Licence

Protection of Property \& Premises
- Prevent unauthorised access to site.
- Monitor CCTV, fire alarms, and intruder alarms.
- Carry out internal and external security patrols.
- Follow site\-specific security procedures and Assignment Instructions.
- Complete routine checks of security equipment.
- Manage keys and carry out locking/unlocking duties.
- Maintain accurate records, logbooks, and incident reports.
- Issue visitor and contractor passes.
- Handle lost property in line with site procedures.
- Support staff, visitors, and contractors with health and safety guidance.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
- Report hazards, faults, accidents, and unsafe working practices.
- Keep emergency and evacuation routes clear at all times.
- Report any use of First Aid equipment and replenish supplies when required.
Qualifications What we’re looking for:

- A valid SIA licence.
- First Aid at Work
- CCTV Licence
- Access to own transport (essential due to multiple site locations)
- Previous experience in a support or relief security role (ideal)
- Fully flexible availability, including days, nights, and weekends
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
- The right to work in the UK, with a 5\-year checkable history.
- Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
