About the RoleAs a rehabilitation medicine specialist, you will play a key role in coordinating and guiding the rehabilitation journey of patients with neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, and chronic pain disorders.

You will work in close collaboration with physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, nurses, and social workers, ensuring each patient receives comprehensive and individualized care.

The department combines inpatient rehabilitation with several specialized outpatient teams, creating a varied and stimulating work environment. In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to service development, assess referrals, and support the education and supervision of junior doctors.

You should have:

An EU-recognized specialist certification in Rehabilitation MedicineAt least 2–3 years of independent clinical experience after specializationExperience in one or more of the following areas:Acquired brain injury rehabilitationSpinal cord injury rehabilitationPain rehabilitationA proactive and team-oriented mindsetAn interest in mentoring and supporting junior colleaguesMotivation to learn Swedish (language training is fully provided)Discover Life in Central SwedenImagine living in a region where forests, lakes, and outdoor adventures are never far away.
