Registered Nurse

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a registered Nurse at Abbeyfield, you will be a key part of the team, assisting our Manager in delivering high quality care to our residents, by looking after their physical, psychological and social needs.
While relying on your professional judgement to make clinical decisions, you will lead others in creating a safe and supportive environment for residents with differing physical and emotional needs.
You can expect a wide range of responsibilities, from developing tailored care plans and maintaining them accurately, to administering medication safely and delivering excellence across everything you do. You will work closely with external health care providers. As an RGN, you must have the ability to work unsupervised and to high standards, while complying with any statutory framework, NMC guidelines and Company Policy.
ABOUT YOU
You will be registered with the NMC as an RGN
You will have a good knowledge of the most up to date clinical practices
You will have experience of producing well developed care plans and detailed risk assessments.
You will have an understanding of regulatory frameworks
Be able to work to a flexible pattern, mostly days, very occasional nights, including weekends
