Join Our Exciting New Service

We are delighted to announce the opening of a brand\-new 22\-bed EMI Nursing Unit within our well\-established and highly regarded care home in Shotton.

Expected to open in early July 2026, this specialist unit will provide high\-quality nursing care and support for older adults living with dementia and complex mental health needs. We are now recruiting compassionate and dedicated Registered General Nurses (RGN) and Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) to become part of our founding team and help shape this exciting new service from the very beginning.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering person\-centred care, ensuring residents receive the highest standards of clinical support while maintaining their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to provide exceptional care in a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, effective, and evidence\-based nursing care.

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans.

  • Administer and manage medications in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor residents' physical and mental wellbeing.

  • Support residents living with dementia and complex behaviours associated with mental health conditions.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to care staff.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.

  • Promote a positive, respectful, and caring culture throughout the unit.
What We're Looking For
  • Current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN.

  • Excellent clinical assessment and decision\-making skills.

  • A genuine passion for working with older people and those living with dementia.

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Previous experience within dementia, EMI, nursing home, or mental health settings is desirable but not essential.
