We are looking for a confident, compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD) with a passion for delivering outstanding care to join our team at our new service to open in early 2027, Cygnet Afon Las.
Cygnet Afon Las is a brand-new service scheduled to open in early 2027. Located in Corwen, Denbighshire, the hospital will provide a 15-bed neurocognitive service for men, delivering specialist care and support for individuals with complex needs. The service will accept referrals from the community, as well as from neurosurgical and neurorehabilitation services, offering a clear pathway for assessment, treatment and recovery.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations
- Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality
- Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing
- Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained collectively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer prescribed medicines with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelin
What We’re Looking For:
- Open, compassionate, honest & resilient
- Newly Qualified or Experienced RMN with a current Pin Number
- Capable to maintain documentation and undertake audits
- Well informed of the Mental Health Act 1983 & have an understanding of latest nursing practices
- Able to deputise in a clinical lead role
- Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk
- Helping to empower & support service user independence.
- £22.50 per hour, increasing after 18 months service
