Registered Nurse Nights

Location: Woodheath Care Home
Hours: 48 hours per week (Night Shifts)
Hourly Rate: £24\.25 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Woodheath Care Home, working night shifts (48 hours per week). This is an excellent opportunity for a committed nurse to play a key role in delivering high\-quality, person\-centred care within a supportive and well\-structured environment.

As the Night Nurse, you will take clinical responsibility during night hours, ensuring residents receive safe, effective, and responsive care in line with CQC standards and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high\-quality nursing care in accordance with individual care plans


• Undertake clinical assessments and respond promptly to residents’ changing needs


• Administer and manage medication safely (in line with NMC guidelines)


• Lead and support the night care team, providing clear direction and supervision


• Maintain accurate, up\-to\-date clinical records


• Ensure the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of all residents at all times


• Escalate concerns appropriately and liaise with external healthcare professionals when required


• Support infection prevention and control, safeguarding, and health \& safety standards

We are looking for a Nurse who is:

• A valid NMC Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active PIN


• Experienced in a care home or similar clinical setting


• Confident working independently and leading a team on night shifts


• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering person\-centred care


• Knowledgeable of medicines management, safeguarding, and CQC standards


• Strong in communication, documentation, and clinical decision\-making

• Competitive hourly rate of £24\.25 per hour


• Full\-time, consistent hours (48 hours per week)


• Supportive management and established governance structure


• Ongoing training, development, and revalidation support
