Registered Manager – Supported Living & Domiciliary Care

Salary:

£38,000 – £45,000 per annum + Mileage Allowance & Progression

Job Description:

Are you a dynamic care leader looking for a rewarding role with a growing community care provider? We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to oversee a high-quality supported living and community care service in the Middlesbrough area.

If you are passionate about promoting independence, empowering service users, and leading a large community-based team, this role is for you.

The Role:

As the Registered Manager, you will oversee the delivery of person-centred care across multiple packages. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking operational control of the service and holding the registration with the CQC.

  • Leading, supervising, and coordinating a team of Field Care Supervisors and Support Workers.

  • Completing initial assessments for new service users and designing bespoke care plans.

  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding policies, and health and safety laws.

  • Monitoring staff rotas, recruitment, and training to ensure safe staffing levels at all times.

What We Are Looking For (Essential Criteria):
  • Qualifications: NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or working towards it).

  • Experience: Proven experience managing a domiciliary care or supported living service.

  • CQC Knowledge: Strong understanding of the CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) and inspection procedures.

  • Mobility: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for community travel.
