Job Summary
This role requires to be registered with CQC and have previous experience as a Registered manager in adult care setting. You must hold minimum level 3 qualification in Health and Social care.
You will be evidencing strong leadership skills, excellent HR knowledge, effectively manage quality assurance, statutory, and other organisational obligations, whilst overseeing the business is run in an efficient and productive manner.
You will be ensuring compliance, reporting to the line manager/director. You are required to be on call pro rata, conduct reviews and first assessment in the absence of care manager. You are required to maintain a positive culture for our customers and staff by working closely with professionals, stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Homecare . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities. This role involves managing staff, ensuring high standards of customer care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. A background as a registered manager with CQC is highly essential. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in fostering a compassionate environment that promotes the well\-being and independence of our customers and staff team.
Duties
- Lead and supervise multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Oversee medication administration, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Manage case management processes, coordinate with healthcare professionals, and facilitate communication between staff, customers, families, and external agencies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations whilst maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control.
- Conduct staff training programmes focused on anatomy knowledge, customer care techniques, medical imaging understanding, and other relevant areas.
- Monitor operational budgets, optimise resource utilisation, and oversee staff scheduling to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Promote a positive organisational culture centred on compassion, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain detailed documentation related to customer records, incident reports, and regulatory audits.
- Proven management experience within healthcare settings such as nursing homes or Homecare.
- Demonstrable supervising experience in a senior care environment with a focus on customer safety and quality assurance.
- Extensive knowledge of senior care practices including dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with case management principles alongside medication administration protocols.
- Excellent knowledge of Safeguarding and CQC compliance.
- Strong leadership skills coupled with the ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
