Key Responsibilities
1\. Leadership \& Culture
- Provide inspirational, values‑led leadership that creates a warm, psychologically safe, purpose‑driven home.

- Maintain accurate audits, risk assessments, action plans and quality improvement cycles.
- Work closely with our Quality and Compliance teams to ensure safe, effective and empowering care.
- Lead safeguarding, incident reviews and continuous improvement with transparency and professionalism.
- Recruit, onboard and develop a high‑performing, values‑aligned team.
- Lead effective rota management to ensure safe staffing, proactive planning and good work‑life balance.
- Deliver supportive supervisions, appraisals and ongoing coaching.
- Create an environment where colleagues feel valued, heard and able to grow.
- Take full operational autonomy for the day‑to‑day running of Ladyville Lodge.
- Manage budgets responsibly, ensuring financial sustainability, safe staffing levels and effective resource allocation.
- Oversee occupancy, care pathways and local relationship‑building with external partners.
- Ensure exceptional standards across hospitality, housekeeping, maintenance and administration.
- Ensure every resident receives personalised, meaningful and holistic support \- celebrating what makes them uniquely themselves.
- Support the development of a varied wellbeing programme that enhances joy, connection and daily purpose.
- Promote community links, family involvement and a sense of belonging.
- Address feedback, concerns or complaints with empathy, transparency and prompt action.
- Experience \& Knowledge
- Previous management experience in a residential or nursing home (or similar care setting).
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, clinical governance and quality frameworks.
- Experience leading teams in a fast‑paced, people‑centred environment.
- Confident with HR processes, rota planning, recruitment and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and operational performance.
