Our Regional Operations Managers provide guidance and direction to our teams as well as support to our GM’s to deliver the Manorview level of service and consistent standards. On a day\-to\-day basis they can be found in all areas of the venue; talking to our teams, supporting our Heads of Departments to deliver standards and celebrating success at every opportunity. Reporting to the group Operations Director, you will champion our culture and ensure we retain our talented team!
ABOUT THE ROLE...
Strategic Leadership Regional Oversight
- Multi\-site oversight: Manage the overall operational performance across all assigned venues.
- Group objectives: Execute group operational objectives and help guide and develop individual venue strategy in line with those goals.
- Continuous improvement: Conduct market analysis and implement changes to drive ongoing growth and development.
- Culture ambassador: Actively embrace and represent our culture across all venues and teams.
- Performance optimisation: Drive performance optimisation of the area and conduct structured business reviews.
- Cost control: Manage the area PL with a strict emphasis on protecting margins and controlling wages.
- Financial accountability: Maintain overall accountability for area financial performance and targets.
- SOP compliance: Ensure every venue strictly follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) and brand guidelines.
- Venue standards: Remain fully accountable for area standards of product, service, and physical presentation.
- Quality audits: Conduct comprehensive property inspections, safety walks, and service audits to maintain high cleanliness and guest satisfaction scores.
- Health safety: Work with Compliance and HS team to ensure the area meets all statutory HS regulations and compliance frameworks.
- General Manager coaching: Mentor GMs and drive operational excellence across all venue leadership.
- Leadership development: Support, mentor, and develop venue leadership teams to ensure they are equipped to succeed.
- Talent succession: Oversee regional recruitment, training frameworks, and career development alongside the People Team.
- Talent pipelines: Partner with the People Team to establish robust talent pipelines for future growth.
- Senior recruitment: Manage the recruitment and career progression of the venue senior team.
- Team retention: Strive to improve team retention through engagement and active development.
- Resource sharing: Coordinate cross\-property staffing and collaborative operational solutions during peak times or shortages.
- Cross\-functional teamwork: Work alongside GMs and Operational Support teams to streamline workflows and maximise efficiency
- Support infrastructure: Work alongside group support teams to ensure venues and teams are set to succeed, thrive, and grow.
- Proven experience as an Area Manager, Operations Manager, or Multi\-Site Leader within the hospitality, hotel, or leisure sectors.
- Strong financial acumen with extensive experience managing multi\-site PLs, margins, and labor costs.
- Demonstrated track record of coaching and developing General Managers and senior venue teams.
- Passion for people, culture, and building sustainable talent pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with group support and executive teams.
- Full UK driving license and a willingness to travel regularly throughout your region
