Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Digital Technical Sales Specialist to support our ambitious Mission30 growth by driving the further digitalisation of our service solutions and offerings, both internally and towards our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record of generating leads and acquiring new clients through digital and automation product channels. You bring experience in implementing and selling digital/automation service solutions, processes, and workflows that support value streams for customers, and you collaborate closely with local Sales Teams across the EMEA region. A deep understanding of industrial processes and engineering environments is essential for this role.
The role will involve extensive travel across EMEA and will be based in Montigny le Bretonneux (78\) , when not travelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Build \& qualify pipeline: Partner with Frontline Sales to identify and qualify leads, dive into customer requirements, and shape tailored
- Market \& installed\-base planning: Analyse the regional installed base, segment customers, and develop regional business plans;
- Solutioning \& proposals: Define scopes/architectures and pricing; develop comprehensive, compliant proposals addressing technical,
- Deal execution: Support bid clarifications and contract negotiations to ensure a smooth and successful close.
- Pilots \& co\-development: Work with GEA Digital Units and Center of Competencies to identify pilot customers, lead co\-development
- Customer engagement: Plan and deliver site visits, presentations, and demos; present solutions to customers and status updates to
- Product expertise \& enablement: Act as the regional LPT Digital Products Sales Specialist; champion digitisation via the GEA
organisations.
- Strategic relationship leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor and foster long\-term relationships with a strong customer\-centric,
- Cross\-functional orchestration: Align with Center of Competencies, Product Management, Regional Service Heads, and Project Sales and Service teams to ensure process knowledge and customer access.
Your profile and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher Automation/electrical/mechanical/Chemical/food engineering
- Profound business understanding
- Knowledge of B2B industries and preferably the dairy and food processing industry
- Drying and Filtration sales expertise
- Automation products sales expertise
- Process knowledge
- Strong interest in digital products
- Management level sales and negotiation skills
- Trusted advisor
- High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Strong commercial mindset
