The Regional Branch Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of sales strategies and customer relationship management. The successful candidate will lead by example, support and motivate the sales team and develop strategies to maximize sales opportunities and work towards achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Supervise and support the sales office team, ensuring clear communications, efficient workflows and high morale

  • Provide training, mentorship and develop a team of sales coordinators to enhance their performance and skills

  • Promote and encourage a positive and collaborative team environment

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback
Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve set Company sales targets

  • Monitor and analyse sales performance data to identify areas for improvement

  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and potential customers
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders

  • Act as a primary point of contact for major clients and address any sales\-related issues or inquiries

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Sales Operations Management:
  • Oversee the day\-to\-day operations of the sales team, including quotes, order processing, inquiries, presentations, and negotiations

  • Monitor and manage sales pipelines, targets and account performance

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and results

  • Coordinate with internal departments to support sales efforts

  • Prepare regular sales reports, track and analyse key trends and providing insights to The Board

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
Process Improvement:
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices, to enhance efficiency, sales growth and customer satisfaction

  • Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sales operations

  • Utilize technology and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in sales processes
Core Responsibilities
  • Managing and development of existing accounts \- ensuring longevity and profitability

  • Developing business and growth opportunities

  • Pro\-actively identify and target new accounts

  • Preparing quotes for potential customers and processing order requests

  • Keeping customers updated with relevant product information

  • Dealing with incoming queries

  • Liaising with internal departments such as logistics, quality and procurement

  • Ensuring customer delivery dates are met

  • Supporting the delivery of customer insights and reports
Qualifications, Training and Experience Required
  • Previous business to business sales (B2B)

  • Computer literate with knowledge of MS office (Excel, Outlook \& PowerPoint)

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience of fluid sealing industry or a similar role

  • SAGE experience (Preferred)

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
