Join us as a Regional Accelerator Director

  • Develop and deliver the regional strategy, leading a high\-performing team to create value for customers, support local economies and drive commercial outcomes for the bank

  • Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders as you drive brand engagement and strengthen the bank's presence across the region

  • You'll have the opportunity to develop and inspire a talented team, while raising your profile through high\-impact work with customers, community leaders and senior stakeholders

  • Travel will be required to Accelerator hubs across the North of England
What you’ll do
------------------

In this important role, you’ll lead a Regional Accelerator Team to deliver compelling propositions for SME (small and medium\-sized enterprise) customers, strengthen advocacy and build sustainable partnerships across the region. You'll oversee the delivery of regional activity across local hubs, digital channels and the wider frontline network, securing a coordinated and consistent approach that maximises customer and commercial value.

You’ll also lead your team to build meaningful relationships with customers, communities and key stakeholders that support retention, advocacy, referrals and growth. You’ll promote a positive culture that supports business owners, encourages collaboration and drives high performance across the region.

Your work will focus on:

  • Supporting and delivering a high\-quality regional strategy that strengthens our proposition and helps differentiate the bank in the SME market

  • Building strong relationships across Regional Boards, internal teams and external partners to create value for customers, communities and the wider business

  • Developing and coordinating customer\-focused content and activity, working with regional teams and stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes

  • Identifying and developing commercial opportunities, supporting customer acquisition, lending growth and broader business development

  • Working with marketing, communications and business teams to promote regional success stories and support public affairs activity

  • Supporting One Bank initiatives that enhance customer outcomes and create stronger connections across the organisation
The skills you'll need

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring strong knowledge of the SME market, together with the ability to support business start\-up and growth. You’ll have experience leading and developing teams, along with a proven ability to build and maintain effective networks across internal and external stakeholder groups.

We’ll expect you to have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility at all levels

  • The ability to deliver engaging presentations for both internal and external audiences

  • Experience working collaboratively across teams and stakeholder groups to achieve shared objectives

  • Leadership experience
