• Salary: £519.67 per day

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the transformative Rotherham Gateway project, focusing on enhancing public transport connectivity and driving economic development in South Yorkshire.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead complex mixed-use regeneration or infrastructure projects, particularly those involving stations, transport hubs, or town centre developments.


• Manage projects through design development stages


• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams, including architecture, engineering, transport, public realm, and landscape.


• Deliver high-quality public realm and placemaking schemes with a focus on accessibility, connectivity, and urban design quality.


• Integrate buildings, public realm, and transport infrastructure, especially where there are interfaces with rail, tram/train, or station operations.


• Work closely with operators or asset owners to ensure functional and operational requirements are embedded in design.


• Develop or support Full Planning Applications, including coordinating technical inputs and supporting documentation.


• Manage project risks, programme, and budgets across complex and interdependent workstreams.


• Collaborate with public sector partners, developers, and consultants in a regeneration context.


• Translate strategic objectives into deliverable schemes, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in leading complex mixed-use regeneration or infrastructure projects.


• Demonstrable experience in managing projects through design development stages.


• Strong track record in coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams.


• Experience in delivering high-quality public realm and placemaking schemes.


• Experience in integrating buildings, public realm, and transport infrastructure.


• Experience working with operators or asset owners in a transport or station context.


• Ability to develop or support Full Planning Applications.


• Demonstrable experience in managing project risks, programme, and budgets.


• Experience working collaboratively with public sector partners, developers, and consultants.


• Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into deliverable schemes.
