Refrigeration Tutor / Learning Coach

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Tutor (Full-Time Teaching) Location: Wythenshawe

Salary: £38,000 – £42,250 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: 37 hours per week

About the Role We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) Tutor to deliver high-quality teaching and support to apprentices and learners. This full-time role is based in Wythenshawe and offers the opportunity to help develop the next generation of RAC professionals.

Key Responsibilities • Deliver engaging and effective teaching in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

• Support and guide apprentices through their learning journey


• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback


• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement


• Ensure compliance with apprenticeship standards and awarding body requirements


• Maintain accurate learner records and documentation

Requirements • Strong knowledge and experience within Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC)

• Understanding of apprenticeship frameworks and standards


• Previous teaching or tutoring experience (essential – industry-only experience is not sufficient)


• Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities


• Strong organisational and communication skills

Qualifications • Teaching qualification preferred

• Candidates without teaching qualifications may be considered, with support provided by Total People to achieve Level 3 and Level 4 teaching qualifications
