Love recruitment, organisation and making sure everything just... works?

We're looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join the HR team on a 12-month fixed term contract, supporting the recruitment and onboarding journey from the moment a vacancy is approved right through to a new employee's first day.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR administration or a coordination role who enjoys being the person behind the scenes making sure candidates, hiring managers and new starters have a smooth and professional experience.

You'll be juggling vacancies, candidates, interviews, paperwork, pre-employment checks, onboarding and plenty of moving parts — so organisation is definitely your friend!

The Role

  • Coordinating the recruitment process from vacancy approval through to appointment.

  • Preparing and advertising vacancies across agreed recruitment channels.

  • Managing candidate applications and keeping recruitment records accurate and up to date.

  • Liaising with hiring managers around shortlisting, interviews and candidate feedback.

  • Coordinating interviews and assessments, including diaries, venues and online meetings.

  • Keeping candidates informed throughout the recruitment process and responding to queries promptly and professionally.

  • Preparing offer letters, contracts and other recruitment documentation.

  • Coordinating pre-employment checks including right to work and references.

  • Managing new starter paperwork and ensuring all required information is received and recorded.

  • Working with hiring managers to make sure new starters have everything they need for a successful start.

  • Organising new starter inductions and onboarding arrangements.

  • Coordinating equipment and other requirements, including laptops, iPads, cameras, access cards and more.

  • Working with IT, operations and other teams to make sure everything is ready before a new employee walks through the door.

  • Maintaining accurate recruitment and onboarding information across HR and recruitment systems.

  • Keeping an eye on deadlines and proactively chasing outstanding actions — because nothing should be left sitting in someone's inbox gathering dust!

  • Producing routine recruitment reports and information as required.

  • Keeping recruitment templates, forms and candidate communications accurate and consistent.

  • Supporting the wider HR team with recruitment projects and process improvements.

  • Looking for ways to make recruitment and onboarding more efficient and, importantly, improve the candidate experience.

The Person

We're looking for someone who gets recruitment and gets people.

You'll ideally have previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR administration or a coordination-focused role, with a good understanding of the recruitment process.

You'll also bring:

  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies, candidates and deadlines at once.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail — especially when dealing with candidate information, contracts and pre-employment checks.

  • A genuine focus on delivering a positive candidate experience.

  • The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

  • Confidence communicating with candidates, hiring managers, colleagues and external contacts.

  • Good IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

  • A proactive approach — you're someone who spots what needs doing and gets on with it.

  • The ability to stay calm and organised when priorities change or things get busy.

  • A collaborative approach, while also being comfortable managing your own workload.

  • A positive, dependable and can-do attitude.

We're looking for someone who will take ownership, keep things moving and isn't afraid to pick up the phone, chase an answer and get things done.

Why apply?

Salary up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

You'll also receive:

  • 25 days' annual leave + bank holidays

  • Company pension scheme

  • Company sick pay scheme

  • Social events throughout the year

  • Company office shut-down between Christmas and New Year ??
