About the role
This is a growth hire within our Cardiff Engineering team, focused on Quality and Design roles across South Wales and surrounding regions.
You’ll take over a warm, under-worked desk with existing client relationships, strong brand recognition, and significant headroom for growth. While the market is currently manufacturing-led, there is clear scope to develop specialist verticals over time.

What you’ll be doing
- Growing a permanent-led engineering recruitment desk
- Recruiting roles such as:
- Quality Inspectors & Quality Managers
- Design Engineers & Design Managers
- Manufacturing & Engineering Management roles
- Developing long-term client partnerships across South Wales
- Winning new business through consultative, value-led sales
- Sourcing, engaging and supporting skilled engineering candidates
- Working closely with colleagues across Cardiff, Bristol and Oxford
What we’re looking for
We’re open to two strong profiles:
1. Experienced recruiters
- Agency recruitment experience (any specialism considered)
- Comfortable with business development and client management
- Motivated by building a desk and growing market share
- Proven success in B2B sales or account management
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial mindset and resilience
- Looking to transition into a professional recruitment career
A driving licence is preferred due to client visits, but not essential.
