Receptionist

Wise May are looking for a proactive and organised Receptionist to join an Investment Banking firm based in the City of London. The role is front of house service often the first and last point of contact for clients, investors, candidates and visitors.

This a permanent position, fully office based with the working hours 8:30am - 5:30pm.

Receptionist duties include:

• Deliver a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience for clients, visitors and employees.


• Manage meeting room bookings, set-ups, refreshments and catering to ensure meetings run smoothly.


• Handle incoming calls, emails, post, couriers and deliveries efficiently and professionally.


• Support the day-to-day running of the office, including managing supplies and liaising with suppliers and facilities providers.


• Maintain reception and communal areas to an exceptional standard at all times.


• Provide administrative support across the business and proactively resolve office-related issues as they arise.


• Build positive relationships with clients and visitors, ensuring an outstanding experience from arrival to departure.


• Act as a key point of contact for office and facilities queries across the organisation.

• Previous experience in a front of house, reception, customer service, or client facing role.


• Excellent communication skills, with a professional and welcoming approach.


• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced environment.


• Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to support occasional early starts when required.


• A collaborative team player who works well across different departments.


• Proactive, organised and able to use initiative to solve problems and take ownership of responsibilities.
