Clinical Assistant \& Front Desk Coordinator – Part\-Time

Awaken Chiropractic is growing, and we're looking for a Clinical Assistant \& Front Desk Coordinator to join our Whittlebury team.

This isn't simply a reception job.

You'll be an important part of the client experience — welcoming people into the clinic, building genuine relationships with our clients, supporting our chiropractors and helping the clinic run smoothly.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in what they do, notices when something needs doing and gets involved rather than waiting to be asked.

Your Regular Hours

Your contracted shifts will be:

Tuesday: 8:00am–3:00pm — 7 hours
Wednesday: 2:00pm–8:00pm — 6 hours
Thursday: 8:00am–1:00pm — 5 hours
Friday: 2:00pm–6:00pm — 4 hours

Total: 22 contracted hours per week

There is also potential for additional hours as the clinic continues to grow.

Flexibility Is Important

We are specifically looking for someone who wants a part\-time position and has some availability outside of their regular contracted shifts.

We're a close\-knit team, and there will be times when colleagues are on annual leave, attending training or unexpectedly absent. From time to time, you'll therefore be asked if you're able to provide additional shift cover.

You won't be expected to be available every time, and wherever possible cover will be arranged in advance. However, having a reasonable level of flexibility and being willing to help the team by covering additional shifts is an important part of this role.

If you're looking for a position where you can only ever work the exact contracted hours above and have no additional availability, this probably won't be the right role for you.

However, if you're looking for around 22 regular hours per week, would welcome occasional additional hours and like the idea of being part of a team that supports one another, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a varied role combining front\-desk responsibilities with hands\-on clinical support.

You'll be:

• Welcoming clients and creating a warm, positive clinic experience


• Managing appointments, bookings and schedule changes


• Answering telephone calls and client queries


• Taking payments and completing administrative tasks


• Supporting our chiropractors during busy clinic shifts


• Running Insight nervous system scans — full training provided


• Preparing rooms and maintaining smooth patient flow


• Maintaining accurate client records


• Helping colleagues when the clinic gets busy


• Taking responsibility for tasks and following them through

Experience is useful, but who you are as a person matters enormously to us.

You'll naturally enjoy connecting with people. You'll notice when someone needs help, remember the little things and understand that how we make people feel is just as important as completing a task.

You'll take responsibility for your work. If something goes wrong, you'll deal with it, learn from it and move forward rather than looking for someone else to blame.

You'll also genuinely enjoy being part of a team. We want someone who shares ideas, helps colleagues, accepts feedback and wants to see the people around them succeed.

And importantly, you'll want to grow. You don't need to arrive knowing everything — we certainly don't expect that — but you do need to be curious, coachable and interested in becoming excellent at what you do.

Training \& Development

You don't need previous chiropractic experience.

We provide full training in our systems, client communication, clinic procedures, Insight scanning and the clinical\-support elements of the position.
