Receptionist/Dental Nurse

This is a front of house role, in a busy Dental Practice in South Dublin.

The role will rotate between two practices in South Dublin (Rathgar and Churchtown).

Candidates who apply must be able to get to both locations.

You will be the first point of contact for patients. You will be responsible for greeting patients face to face as well as answering inbound calls. You will greet patients and ensure they have the correct paperwork and documentation before they are seen by a Clinician.

This is a fast\-paced, patient\-focused front\-of\-house role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, welcoming them professionally, managing check\-ins, and ensuring they are directed to the correct clinician.

Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll engage with patients face to face, over the phone, and via email while delivering an exceptional patient experience at every stage of their journey.

You’ll coordinate appointments using our in\-house booking system, including scheduling, confirming, cancelling, and rearranging visits to suit patient availability.

The role also involves clinician diary management, patient follow\-up communication, scanning and maintaining confidential patient records, handling inbound queries as well as cash handling and online banking payments.

Where appropriate the ideal candidate may be required to assist a Clinician with Dental Nursing tasks and any experience in Dental Nursing is a distinct advantage.

The ideal candidate will have medical practice experience, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a busy, deadline\-driven environment. Full computer literacy, including MS Office, fluent English, reliability, and a proactive, patient\-centred approach are essential for success in this role.

Pay: €15\.00\-€20\.00 per hour
