We are seeking an organised and professional Hotel Reception Manager to oversee the front desk operations of our busy hotel, However knowlegde of Rezlynx is a must The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, ensuring excellent communication with guests, and supporting the smooth running of daily operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills to lead our Front of House Team.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate all front desk activities

  • Answer and direct phone calls with professional phone etiquette

  • Manage incoming correspondence, emails, and enquiries efficiently

  • Maintain accurate data entry records using Microsoft Office, Rezlynx /Guestline

  • Laise and support the meetings and events team as required

  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming

  • Support administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and document preparation

  • Work closely with the reservation team to maximise occupancy and upselling opportunities

  • Manage check\-ins/outs, room allocations, and billing with high attention to details

  • Lead, mentor and train the reception team

  • Be the point of contact for the guest, ensuring every stay starts and ends perfectly

  • Promote the restaurant and spa facilities to guests
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a hotel supervisory or management role

  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems Rezlynx

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

  • Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills

  • A ‘can\-do’ attitude with the ability to stay calm and professional under pressure

  • Experience with data entry and maintaining detailed records

  • Comfortable working a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays
