Reception Duty Manager
The Wilder Townhouse is seeking an experienced, passionate, and guest\-focused Reception Duty Manager to join our award\-winning team.

We are looking for a hospitality professional who thrives on delivering exceptional guest experiences and enjoys working within a personalised, luxury environment where attention to detail and genuine hospitality are at the heart of everything we do.
Working Hours
This is a full\-time position based on 39 hours per week, working 5 days over 7\.
The role operates on a rotating shift pattern:
- 07:00 – 15:30
- 14:30 – 23:00
About the Role
As Reception Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day\-to\-day operation of the Front Office while ensuring every guest receives a warm, personalised, and memorable experience.
You will act as a key ambassador for The Wilder Townhouse, maintaining our boutique service standards and supporting the wider operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service throughout the guest journey
- Manage guest check\-ins and check\-outs efficiently and professionally
- Handle reservations, amendments, cancellations, and guest enquiries
- Ensure all guest requests and preferences are actioned and communicated effectively
- Conduct rooming procedures and personalised guest welcomes
- Support revenue generation through upselling and room allocation management
- Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally
- Assist with training and coaching team members
- Ensure all Front Office procedures and standards are maintained
- Act as the Hotel Duty Manager when required, taking responsibility for the overall operation of the property
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a hotel reception or supervisory role
- Previous experience in a boutique or luxury hotel environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of hotel reservations and front office procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and problem\-solving abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Passion for delivering personalised guest experiences
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Experience using hotel PMS systems is advantageous
- Must be legally entitled to work in Ireland
- Must be available to work 39 hours per week
- Flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
