We are currently seeking a Facilities Assistant to join the team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role sits at the heart of the site and is ideal for someone with strong hospitality experience, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Based on the main reception, you will act as a welcoming first point of contact for visitors, clients, contractors and building residents, while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of facilities, meetings and hospitality services on site.
What You Need to Know
- Hourly Rate- £14.80 PAYE, paid weekly one week in arrears
- Location: London NW1
- Start date: ASAP
- Provide a professional Meet & Greet reception service, creating a positive first impression of Fujitsu for visitors, clients and contractors
- Coordinate hospitality and catering services on site
- Support meetings by managing meeting room bookings, setting up rooms, and ensuring rooms are cleaned, prepared and ready for use
- Act as a central point of contact for building residents, delivering a high level of customer service via face-to-face, telephone and email
- Assist with access control for contractors and visitors, including Catering, Cleaning & Waste Management, M&E and Fabric Maintenance, Vending and general visitors
- Support the efficient operation of the Mailroom and Goods In/Out functions, including courier requests
- Conduct routine Housekeeping and Health & Safety inspections, arranging resolutions or escalating as required
- Support the Facilities Manager, acting as the main on-site point of contact during their absence and escalating issues as needed
- Strong background in hospitality, hotel, front desk or reception environments
- Excellent organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Confident and professional communicator, able to liaise effectively with contractors and stakeholders
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong time management skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Customer-focused mindset with a natural ability to provide a welcoming and professional service
