Victa Railfreight Ltd currently have an exciting opportunity to work as a Rail Logistics Operator

We are currently recruiting for Dove Holes

A driver's licence will be required for this role.

You will be responsible for carrying out safe performance of shunting operations involving freight trains in sidings and terminals throughout the rail network within these areas. These positions also involve rolling stock inspection, load checking and preparing trains for main line transit.

Please look up the role of a shunter within the rail industry before applying.

Applicants must be conscientious with a high level of attention to detail, flexible, and reliable

Due to the nature of the role, weekend work will form part of the working pattern. While not every weekend will be worked, applicants must be willing and available to work Saturdays and Sundays as required.

Applicants must be over the age of 18 and full training is provided however you must be physically fit as the job requires lots of movement.

The post is safety critical and subject to a Medical, Drug \& Alcohol Testing and satisfactory references as well as other standard pre employment checks.
