R&D Lab Technician

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

• Assist in the planning and execution of research projects;


• Conduct experiments and tests to collect data;


• Analyze data and assist in preparing technical reports;


• Help in the design, development, and implementation of new and improved products;


• Perform routine laboratory tasks, such as preparing solutions and maintaining equipment; therefore and to this purpose the candidate will also be able to perform manual jobs such as welding and connecting hydraulic fittings.


• Maintain accurate records of experiments and results;


• Work closely with the research and development team to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget;


• Implement techniques for tests, defining methodologies, tools and best practices, necessary for the continuous improvement;


• Follow established procedures and guidelines to perform routine laboratory procedures to test the quality of the organization's raw materials, in\-process products, and finished products, with a focus on new product development.

YOU HAVE:

• High School or equivalent


• Ideally 2\+ years’ experience as Lab Technician


• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers.


• Self\-motivated and ability to motivate others.


• Analytical skills and problem solving abilities.


• Proficient use of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
