R&D Engineer Materials

We are seeking a Materials Engineer with expertise in materials characterization and product development .

The successful candidate will support the characterization, development, and optimization of cable and accessories technologies.

In this role, you will:

• Perform advanced polymer morphological characterization to identify dispersion and distribution of polymeric and inorganic phases.


• Correlate polymer structure with chemical‑physical, rheological, and electrical properties of compounds.


• Conduct comparative analyses to support material development, troubleshooting, and product optimization.


• Analyze, interpret, and model complex multi‑technique datasets.


• Generate clear technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for R\\\&D and engineering teams.

Actively support development of optimized material formulations and manufacturing processes for cable products.

• You are the right fit if you have/are:


• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Polymer Science or Materials Science


• Proven experience in polymer materials characterization and microscopy


• Experience with extrusion or injection molding processes is a nice to have


• Solid understanding of polymer physics, chemistry, and structure–property relationships


• Strong communication \& interpersonal skills


• Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem\-solving skills

Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset

• Gross annual salary no less than: € 38\.000,00


• The position is eligible for an individual or collective variable incentive based on the achievement of predetermined performance objectives.
