About the Role

We are working with a well-established commercial building services business to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Bristol-based team.

This position offers exposure across the full commercial lifecycle, working closely with senior leadership and operational teams. It’s an excellent opportunity someone driven looking to progress within a stable, hard-working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing project costs, budgets, forecasts, cash flow and CVRs


• Preparing valuations, applications for payment and financial reports


• Administering JCT, NEC and Design & Build contracts


• Managing variations, risks and change control processes


• Procuring and managing subcontractors through to final account


• Supporting tendering, estimating and cost planning activities


• Producing monthly commercial and board-level reports

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar


• 1–2+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor or commercial role within the construction sector


• Working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts


• Strong Excel, numerical and analytical skills

• Bristol based with site visits across the South West
