The Role
We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of the commercial management of multiple projects.
You’ll collaborate with project teams, clients, and supply chain partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project handovers and set up project financial data
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost control
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
- Prepare monthly cost/value reports and reconciliations
- Submit valuations and variations to clients
- Manage subcontract procurement, negotiation, and accounts
- Oversee change control processes with clients and supply chain
- Produce cash flow forecasts and progress reports
- Contribute to final account agreements
- Provide commercial and contractual advice to project teams
- Manage multiple projects and maintain accurate cost data
- Minimum 3\+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Experience within Mechanical \& Electrical (M\&E) projects preferred, but not essential
- Strong knowledge of contract forms (JCT, SBCC, NEC)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Excel \& Word)

- HNC / HND / Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
