We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team We specialise in delivering high quality acoustic solutions across commercial, industrial, education and infrastructure sectors . In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of cost management for projects, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to budgets. Your expertise will help drive successful project delivery by accurately estimating costs, managing budgets, and controlling expenses throughout the project lifecycle. Duties
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
- Monitor project costs continuously, comparing actual expenditures against budgets to identify variances early.
- Implement effective cost control measures to prevent overspending and maximize resource efficiency.
- Conduct tendering processes, evaluate bids from suppliers and contractors, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Manage contractual changes, variations, and claims with clear documentation and timely communication.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure financial objectives are met throughout the project timeline.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions, procurement activities, and cost reports for audit purposes.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of cost control techniques and financial management practices in construction projects.
- Familiarity with industry\-standard estimating software and contract management tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail for accurate budgeting and cost tracking.
- Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay: £40,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
